The Balearics' image is very much connected to a concept of beach holidays, according to a study carried out on social networks by Sibilare consultancy over the course of 40 days.
It is worth highlighting the fact that 45% of social media publications on concepts or themes related to the Balearic Islands were of the island of Ibiza, while Mallorca represented 42% of the total, and Menorca 13%.
As such, this study confirms that Ibiza is the best known of the Balearic brands on social networks.
On the other hand, through another study carried out on social media it has become clear that there are 11 different concepts people relate to the Balearic Islands, all of which generate a significant worldwide impact on leading communication channels such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
